The Certification section is part of the EMEA Development Control department (total 9 persons) functioning within the EMEA development centre. The main task of the department is to monitor processes within the R&D environment (budget, resources, systems and certification programmes). The certification section is located in the Daikin Europe head office in Brussels. The certification section is responsible for all Commercial product related certifications including product import certifications for products in the EMEA area.
Job Content
- As a Certification Responsible, you will take the lead in certification matters towards the affiliates and the design centres in the whole EMEA region.
- You will take care of the questions from the affiliated companies concerning the commercial certifications
- You will be the intermediate person between DENV and the Certification bodies
- You will analyse the specifications of these certifications and inform the involved design centre in the whole EMEA region.
- You assure that the Certifications for the products are organised and processed in time with the launch of new products
- You will also inform them on the new technical regulations so our products meet all the necessary requirements.
- You will organize and follow up the internal and external tests , needed to obtain the required certifications. You will also be in charge of ordering and conducting the related audits, required to obtain these commercial certifications.
- You will summon Certification Meetings and be responsible for the records of these meetings.
- You analyse and report monthly on the expenditure versus budget.
- You prepare the input for the budget cycles.
Profile
- You have a Master degree, preferably in a technical field (Electro-mechanics, Mechanics)
- You have experience in Certification and strong organisational skills.
- You have a keen attention to detail and a high regard to quality.
- You are able to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment and meet milestones.
- You have excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- You also have good communication skills. You are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. Other languages are a plus
